Grocery shopping is easy at the Loblaws across the street from Vanier Parkway. You are walking distance (750 m) from FreshCo, heading east on McArthur Avenue, for a cheaper alternative. The Beechwood Village shopping area with its many shops and boutiques is located within walking distance (less than 2 km).
A ten minute drive west brings you to the Rideau Centre and the Byward Market. The #14 bus at your front door will bring you there as well.
A 3 km drive southeast and you will be at the St-Laurent Shopping Centre. The #14 bus takes you directly to the St-Laurent mall.

Located at the corner of McArthur Avenue and Vanier Parkway, Château Vanier is minutes away from every major destination in Ottawa.
OC Transpo bus route #14 which stops at your front door brings you directly to the Rideau Centre and downtown Ottawa or to the St-Laurent Shopping Mall.
Walk up Vanier Parkway (to Montreal Road) for OC Transpo bus route #2 and #15 or McArthur Avenue (to North River Road) for OC Transpo bus route #18.
